WELCOME TO TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH!!
Trinity Lutheran is located in the historic Mud Lane area of Staten Island at the intersection of Beach, St Paul's and Cebra Ave. You can't miss this Gothic gem. For over 160 years, we have been serving the needs of our community through worship, education, feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, worshipping with music and so much more.
Did you know Trinity is “Kid Friendly”
We are happy to announce the opening of PRAY GROUND an area designed for children 5 and under to quietly engage in age appropriate activities while experiencing worship in the sanctuary along with their families. It is located in the front of the Sanctuary so children can view the goings on at the altar (or not) and parents can still engage in meaningful worship.
We also have set aside space in the Narthex with rocking chairs in case a moment of quiet is needed. Of course, parents always have the option to simply sit with their children in the pews for which we have Pew Bags for kids who need a few extras to help hold their attention.
Who Are We?
We’re Lutherans! Lutherans make up a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith and grow in our relationship with God.
We also work hard to put our faith into action. In today’s complex world, we try to make a difference in practical, realistic ways. Lutheran ministries reach from around the corner to across the globe. Members of the Metro New York Synod’s nearly 200 congregations are worshipping God, helping friends and neighbors, celebrating diversity, feeding the hungry, working for justice, and advocating for peace. In all we do, we strive to reflect God’s boundless love for all people.
